Our Goat Camembert is a traditional Normandy-style white mould cheese made from pure local goat's milk. He might look like a classic Camembert but don’t be fooled! Cut into this delicious morsel and you’ll discover a lighter, almost pearlescent interior with a completely different flavour profile to cow’s milk Camembert. He’s mild and delicate with a silky smooth mouthfeel when young, developing a stronger, goaty flavour when fully matured. If you like your cheese milder, eat him while he’s firm. If you prefer a stronger flavour, allow him to soften and ripen. As he matures he goes all glossy and fudge-like. The flavour is more punchy but well balanced, giving off earthy, barnyard notes. Slather him on a water cracker with quince paste for tastebud heaven.
