Not far from Milawa is the imposing Mt Buffalo: an alpine plateau with sheer cliffs, tumbling waterfalls and breathtaking views. It’s a big name to live up to, but this cheese won’t disappoint. She’s a dense, creamy restrained blue. Her gentle goaty flavour and distinctive blue and green moulds will take your cheeseboard to new heights. She’s made in small, seasonal batches and aged for 3-6 months in our blue cheese ‘cave’. When she emerges she’s ready for adventure. A perfect pairing for dessert wines or sweet fruity reds.
